Following is a vague experience of this morning meditation time: The process of separating the awareness from the objects is a long and delicate one. Only the meditator acknowledges by him/herself when the separation starts. The separation requires a long period of diligent observation of objects that come in contact with the pure awareness. The appearing of the separation also induces a vague presence of the right view.

This morning, the pure awareness experienced the very present time, and thanks to the experience of the present time, the rising and falling of objects with a fast speed were seen pretty clear.

Good morning meditation time. With right reflexion, the ignorance of human beings comes from the formation of the five senses is discovered. For example, the birds sound is heard by the ears as a continuous harmonious sound, but in reality, a sound is a wave that is composed of multiple broken sounds with a very rapid frequency that the ears do not have the ability to differentiate it. The same wrong experience happens with other senses. The ignorance is right there. The question is: what can help human being's mind to see the truth? The answer is: the awareness and the Noble eightfold paths will bring "understanding" to shed light to the ignorance.

Ninety minutes with the pure awareness dominating the mind brings up some experiences:
-In order to see the continuous changing of form and formless things, the observer must stay in a non-changing position and must be permanent. That observer is the pure awareness.
- Things that come in contact with the pure awareness do not carry any "self" in them: there are the hearing, the body touching, the seeing...
- Defilements still arise but do not affect the mind, they come and go when being awared.

A beautiful meditation time.
Finally, realizing that the real happiness lies in the recognition and observing the objects. The domination of awareness in the mind creates the recognition of the tranquility, the calmness that has been there, but disturbed by activities of the brain: feeling, memory, thinking and consciousness.
There is the arising of the idea to stop writing the diary because of the inability to describe what is experienced.

This morning, after finishing the meditation time, looking at the Buddha statue sitting on a rock in the backyard, love and respect feeling infiltrates in the mind. The Enlightened One has left his glorious worldly life to engage in the way discovering the ultimate reality of human being's life. He finally found the path to the enlightenment and liberation that has been transferred to us nowaday. Fortunately, we are the one who is on the path.
The "understanding", vague and light as a thin thread of cloud on the sky but deeply affects our mind and results in a change of thoughts and feeling. The feeling of being put back to the ignorant status of the mind creates an uneasy feeling as the feeling of dying does.

A vague "understanding" infiltrated in mind again this morning: nobody has any power on the mind. There is no "you" at all in the coming and going thoughts. Thinking and feeling are governed by the worldly dharma. They are slowly replaced by the right mindfulness and right reflection.

Nice sitting time this morning. The "understanding" of the ultimate reality vaguely arose in mind. The more the understanding is, the more the acknowledge of the level of enlightenment of Venerable Ajahn Chah is. Only one simple statement the Venerable made " this mind has the ability to understand the ultimate Noble Truth" has shown his very high level of enlightenment. The noble truth is there, right in the eyes of Noble price scientists, but they are not enlightened because the body can not see the noble truth, that means the intellectual brain, the seeing, hearing do not help a being to understand the noble truth.

Pretty good meditation time: an intense competition to get control the mind between the right view of the noble eightfold path and worldly view. From time to time, right view gains the control and a very vague experience of liberation arises.
It seems a definition of meditation arising in mind: what is meditation? Meditation is a journey to discover the reality of this life and everything related to human beings and this nature. So it is not reasonable to request everybody to go for this journey. It's a voluntary journey. Some people are happy to go. Some are not. The journey is long and challenging. Compared to the journey without return to Mars planned by space scientists. Some people are eager to participate, but not everybody on this planet does.

During sitting meditation time with closed eyes, most objects are formless. They come from brain activities: memory, feeling, thinking, consciousness. They are sanskaras. Focusing on these objects will help to recognize their constantly changing characteristics and more pleasantly, to recognize the emptiness.
This morning, it is seen clearly that the thinking, recalling are fed by the energy from the worldly dharma:
gain and loss, praise and criticism....

The first time, an impression to wait for thinking to come in contact with the awareness, similar to the impression to wait for a sound. During the sitting meditation time, the sense of self is fading.

A nice sitting meditation time in the early morning. As the right concentration reigns the mind, the right view can see other mind activities arising from time to time. When these mind activities: thinking memory and feeling arise, they will be recognized very soon. There is an impression that they are contained, observed and replaced by other objects. The awareness of the body posture was maintained pretty well.

Yesterday, a full defilement day. Life during the sitting meditation hours is different from daily life with a lot of input provoking conditioned mind reactions leading to suffering. The effect of the understandings and wisdom is still weak, doesn't affect daily feeling, attitude, and behavior.
However, they vaguely do. “practicing no matter what” the statement from a dharma friend arises in the mind. More and more practice is crucial.

One hour sitting meditation started at 2:30 AM. Vaguely experiencing that the real life is the awareness; all the other form and formless things: the body and the mind activities are only delusional. The real life is peaceful and tranquil, no come and go, no changing. The experience is very vague, but it induces a pleasant feeling.

Nice meditation time this morning with a few understanding vaguely arisen:
After the establishing of awareness, the most important job that makes the right samadhi differs from another samadhi is the job of recognizing and observing any object that is arising especially thought. With right awareness, focus hard on the presence of thought. Do not be afraid of losing too much energy because of the act of focusing, with right awareness and right reflecting, the sharper the focus the clearer the thought will be seen and the faster it will disappear.

This morning, before sitting in meditation, trying to explain to a dharma friend about the difference between the meaning of the term “ understanding” frequently used in dharma discussion to indicate something understood by thinking: for example, at a traffic intersection, cars are constantly moving, one after another. The term “understanding” is used to indicate something suddenly arising in mind that helps to understand more profoundly the fact. The term understanding (no quotation marks)(samvrti-satya) refers to something known through the senses, (phenomenon) and "understanding" (with quotation marks) refers to something known through its reality (paramartha-satya).
So “ understanding” is the right understanding of the eightfold paths

A nice meditation time. Just keep contemplating what is arising in the mind, interesting things, experience slowly come. The things and experience can not be described by worldly language,

A nice sitting meditation time. Some minutes at the beginning, the body is seen sitting there like a table, totally detached from the self. 1 hr.15 minutes passed nicely, all thinking, feeling are contemplated .

A nice sitting in meditation this morning. A pretty nice understanding comes to mind: a human being eyewitnesses friends relatives passing away almost every day, he/ she knows and deeply thinks about the death but that thinking seems do not work on him/herself, Why ? Simply because that idea also a sankara, that means it also is impermanent, also comes and goes, and is replaced by the preferred one: that happens to others, not me. That's the reason a mind that works by worldly dharma is covered by ignorance.
